The land of mullets, rednecks and bigots. Amen.

You know there are three types of people I hate the most; Liars, racists and bigots. Now, I know some people may wonder why would I put liars first. Well, because you can’t have the other two without dishonesty first. I have been surfing the different blogs and have seen several postings that read something like: “I can’t vote for Romney, he’s in a cult” or “His teachings contradict mine so I will vote for John McCain”. Usually, these are Huckabee supporters trying to explain the need to vote their conscious.

I know where you Huckabee supporters are. Hell the whole country does you nitwits. The state election results shows your geographic location and the number. We will know how you voted, even if Huckabee (from my lips to God’s ears) drops out before. Your explanations of voting choice are proof enough of your lack of intelligence but the fact that you do not understand that your giving everyone in the country essentially your zip code with the tag of bigot is breathtaking. This is even better than the show “Stupid Criminals”. Why don’t you just dress up in ripped blues jeans and tank-top. Oh, don’t forget your mullet wig.  One of the most disturbing things about moving to the south was having other whites (southern) share their bigoted attitude as well as racist comments. What the hell is wrong with you loons in the south.

I’m not from the south, but it is currently my home. I like most of the southern atmosphere, and I have decided to make this my home for a long time. I will actively root out all you racists and bigots in the south. Thank you for making my job easier. Oh, by the way, McCain hates you redneck religious hicks. He will appreciate your vote. A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain.

Putting Lipstick on the Pig

While I normally would not dare interrupt the coronation of the Republican Presidential nominee frontrunner John McCain, I can’t help but wonder who is really deciding this? Is it the Republican party? Mmm, Sort of.  Is it the conservative wing of the party? Well, “Not No But Hell No” comes to mind.  Is it the moderate republicans? Some are. Is it the liberal republicans? A resounding yes. Is it liberal independents? Another resounding yes. Is it the liberal media? Another resounding yes.

Let me interrupt myself for a minute to ask some of my fellow conservatives: Are you really going to make me walk you through this? Have you really become this mentally lazy that I (and many other conservatives) have to spell this out to you? Sorry for digressing back to my analysis.

Why would the liberal independents (ie. Joe Lieberman), liberal republicans (ie. Arnold Schwarzenegger), and the liberal media (ie. NY Times) back John McCain? First let me explain why liberal republicans would back McCain. It is a political bet on their part. If John McCain loses, liberal republicans still be able to use their disgusting political tactic of giving liberals what they want as a form of payment to stay in power(See Arnold). Conversely, if McCain wins they have guaranteed jobs in his administration (See Rudy). Next, why would liberal independents (note: actually they are liberal democrats who understand the negative impact they can have on open republican primaries) and liberal media want John McCain? Do you actually believe they want John McCain instead of the first women president or first black president? If you answered yes, then please stopping reading and get off my blog. I may be gifted in the art of persuasion but I’m not a miracle worker. When looking at the final two republican candidates (Romney and McCain), John McCain is the most vulnerable and weakest. I think one thing that proves my point is the lecturing of certain republicans not to criticize or speak bad of McCain, because it may damage his chances in the general election. Huh? Let’s go through this stream of stupid consciousness: 1) Pretend McCain is our Republican nominee with no warts or problems 2) Democrats won’t dare criticize McCain or expose him to demoralize his base on such issues as immigration, campaign finance reform, global warming, Supreme Court Justices, his disrespect for the religious right, ignorance on the economy and business, proven and documented flirting with democrats to change parties, his intemperate conduct towards fellow republicans or age  3) The media will give McCain the opportunity to change the focus of this national campaign to his supposed strong point-“National Security” 4) Everyone will love McCain the maverick and elect him the next President of the United States.

If you are conservative, how can you believe such illogical and unrealistic crap. The one thing (the only thing) John McCain can speak of “national security” will shoved back in the closet for this general election. The media will make sure of it. McCain will have to speak about social issues and economic issues. He is liberal on both areas, with illegal immigration and embedded taxes on business through global warming regulations as a start. McCain will not be able to out pander a Democrat, it doesn’t matter which one. Not to mention the fact that Americans will be faced with a decision: Elect 1) John McCain who is old, tired, white, non-inspirational or 2) The first woman or black President of the United States. This is one point that most republicans for McCain miss. Democrats are offering an historical event, McCain offers the old, smug, white guy.

I whole-hearted support Romney. I think he is the most conservative candidate and the most electable. While he can speak to issues other than National Security such as the economy and social issues, he has been able to explain why these things are interconnected and why we should not ignore one for the other. You need a strong economy to support a strong defense, you need strong family values and self reliance to help you through rough times rather than depending on government. These ideas make people feel like they are in control of their life. That is a winnable platform. When people feel uncertain about themselves, they tend to look for something else (ie. the democrat’s historical event I spoke about earlier). We need a Republican candidate that can explain with clarity and sincerity to all Americans. “We are in control of our own destiny”.

And now for the brass knuckle section of my essay. I’ve heard dirt-bag supporters of McCain try to scare some of us by saying that if Hillary is elected over McCain it will be our fault. Well, bite me. I’m 39 years old and will have to live in this country long after McCain is pushing daisies. And as someone who is still in the armed forces, I find it offensive the way he plays his support of the military. Where the hell was he in the 90’s as I saw good fellow military members given walking papers to reduce the military, not to mention substandard training implemented to reduce costs. Stick it McCain, your war hero crap doesn’t fly with me after you spent over 20 years self indulging and spitting in the face of “friendlies” on the Republican side. That, more than anything as a service member gives me great pause as to McCain’s ability to be Commander In Chief.

I respect every conservative’s right to vote for who ever you want. But, it doesn’t mean I have to agree or like it. You have a choice. Either you drink the sour and bitter Republican cool-aid or you drink the sweet and savory Conservative cool-aid. Which one do you think I prefer?

The Six Year Itch

This was a great week for the United States and its electorate. Everyone, from democrat to republican including independents were able to see the whoring out of politicians in Washington over the immigration bill.  Of course, only in our US Senate would you find this type of back stabbing, lying and deceit passed off as statemenship. Yes, I know, I'm being too harse, too extreme in my criticism, the accusation is just too much. Well, call it whatever you want, I really don't care. This past two weeks I've been called a rascist, bigot, nativist, stupid, either directly or indirectly. It might have hurt my feelings if it wasn't for the fact that the typical political scum (elected and others) were making the charges. For those of you wondering why certain Senators seemed to risk alot to support a completely asinine immigration bill it is very simple. The only way John McCain believed he could win in 2008 was to get this bill to pass. And it was under McCain's extremely stupid and ill-planned strategy (gee, what a surprise, see McCain-Feingold), you saw other Senators placing their chips.
There is only one republican presidential candidate that would have benefited from a similar hispanic turnout (percentage wise) enjoyed by Bush. That would have been McCain, of course being campaigned for by Bush in 2008. Yes, McCain's support for Bush in the war does come at a price. Would this allow McCain to win the White House? Maybe or maybe not, but it would certainly push him through the primaries and off to the most shameless pandering to hispanics the US has ever seen in a Presiential Election. Of course, McCain needs a VP/skirt to run with, why not a southern bell like Graham from South Carolina? This may explain why Graham came off as McCain's jester for the earlier filabuster and then this amnesty bill.
Also, is it any wonder why some media elites were almost hysterical in their denouncing of the bill's opponents? Denying them of their favorite politician in becoming president.

Of course, I could be wrong, maybe McCain, Graham and the other republican senators are just incompetent and should be replaced by anyone who can read the english language.
